37MM Irritant Munitions

The Combined Systems 37MM Irritant Munitions line delivers smoke, CS irritant and inert payloads through pyrotechnic short- and long-range cartridges, multi-submunition rounds and smokeless liquid and powder barricade rounds. Pyrotechnic models are used outdoors for signaling, crowd dispersal and area denial, while the smokeless 5.45-inch liquid and powder barricade rounds penetrate intermediate barriers to deliver irritant agents into an adjacent room. The dual-rim design lets the operator chamber the round in both 37MM and 40MM launchers, though only 37MM delivers optimum performance. Effective range is dependent on environmental factors, especially wind.
