3M Peltor

PELTOR Tactical Modular Audio System (TMAS)

TMAS is 3M's newest generation of tactical communication and hearing protection, developed to help operators communicate effectively in dynamic noise environments. Built around the SCU-300 System Control Unit, it delivers wireless, plug-and-play multi-comm capability that removes the cables between headset and push-to-talk to increase mobility. A weapon-rail remote PTT lets operators transmit and adjust volume without removing their hand from the weapon, and the system scales to manage legacy and future radios alongside the next-generation ComTac VII and TEP-300.

• Single, DUAL and Multi COMMS configurable, handling multiple radios with multiple channels
• Mix, Split and Surround preset sound profiles
• Cable-free connection between the SCU and compatible ComTac VII and TEP-300 headsets
• Uses Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) for private, interference-resistant wireless audio
• Remote control unit (RCU) included for weapon-mounted transmit
• Enhanced auditory situational awareness for a tactical edge
