The Sidewinder Boot® is a high-impact, waterproof hands-free light built as the standard flashlight for boot camp and basic military training. It runs white LED on high or low, and an integrated slide-in red filter swaps to red light without a separate lens to lose. A belt and clothing clip doubles as a helmet mount, the battery compartment cap is hinged so it cannot be dropped in the dark, and tactile polarity indication lets a soldier change AA cells by feel.
